Country star Jake Owen headed to a radio station in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (12Jun13) to finish the Cma Music Festival set which was cut short by bad weather on Sunday (09Jun13).

The singer had to end his performance at Nashville's LP Field Stadium after just one song due to safety fears over an approaching storm, and radio host Bobby Bones subsequently offered him the chance to complete his set on air.

Bones reached out to Owen via Twitter.com and the star took him up on the offer to come to his radio studio on Wednesday morning to sing the rest of his show.

Owen kept his word and headed to the studio to finish the rest of his set on syndicated programme, The Bobby Bones Show.

After the performance, Owen thanked the radio host in a post on Twitter.com, writing, "Thanks Mr Bobby Bones for having the boys and I in to finish our Cma set this morning. You guys are awesome."
