Jake stars as lead character Prince Dastan in 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' and he claims the movie has kept true to the original game while also making it relevant for a new audience by "elaborating" on the story.
He told ComingSoon.net: "I've No Doubt there will be a whole mix of ideas about the movie because everybody plays The Game. The great thing about video games is you get to do it yourself, and this is another person's version of it.
"I think we've done incredible action, we've really paid attention to the video game and elaborated on things that make this story fantastic.
"I mean, huge action, a lot of the same moves you use and can use in the video game but also based in reality and believably done in the film which I think creates more suspense. I think they're really going to like it."
The movie tells the tale of Prince Dastan and Tamina (Gemma Arterton), who must stop an evil ruler releasing a sandstorm that could destroy the entire world.
'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time' is released on May 28.
