'My Name Is Earl' actress Jaime Pressly has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after reportedly registering a blood alcohol level of .22, which is more than three times the legal limit.
The 'My Name Is Earl' actress - who was arrested last month after police performed a sobriety test when they pulled her over for allegedly committing a traffic violation - has been officially charged for the offence by the Santa Monica City Attorney.
According to gossip website TMZ, the 33-year-old star registered a blood alcohol level of .22 - which is more than three times the legal limit for driving - and could now face up to six months behind bars.
Jaime's charge comes just days after she filed for divorce from her husband of 16 months - entertainment lawyer Simran Singh - at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
However, the actress is now said to be concerned about how the split will affect her three-year-old son Dezi James, whose father is her former fiance DJ Eric Calvo.
An insider recently revealed: "I think it comes down to she married the guy too fast. He seemed like a good guy but he is super full of himself and puts her down for everything. He picks fights with her for any little thing.
"She doesn't want to confuse Dezi. Her baby is her top priority. She's a strong girl though and she will come out of this fine."
