American actress Jaime King was left red-faced as a youngster when her dad found her music diary - because she was hooked on writing down the lyrics of "nasty" rap songs.
King confesses her raunchy taste in music started at a young age with west coast rappers such as Too $hort, whose popularity peaked in the 1990s with albums including Shorty the Pimp.
She tells SPIN magazine, “I was into really nasty, dirty rap when I was 12. I would, like, dissect Too $hort's lyrics by writing them all down in a notepad. My dad found it, and he flipped his s**t. I didn't get my hands on any Too $hort after that. They were totally happy when I moved on to Nirvana.”
