The widower of British reality TV star Jade Goody has been cleared of raping a teenager at his home.
Jack Tweed, 22, was arrested in September last year (09) and charged with two counts of rape after a 19-year-old woman claimed he attacked her at his house in east London.
But Tweed walked free from Snaresbrook Crown Court, east London, on Monday (26Apr10) after a jury took just 15 minutes to find him not guilty of both charges. He told the court the woman had consented to sex.
Tweed's pal, 25-year-old Anthony Davis, was also cleared of rape.
Tragic Goody, who shot to fame on U.K. TV show Big Brother in 2002, died from cervical cancer in March last year (09) at the age of 27.
