The FOX TELEVISION production of AMERICA'S PRINCE: THE JOHN F KENNEDY JR STORY, which aired on cable network TNT in January (03), will be altered to delete references to Browne in two scenes, says his publicist Michael JENSEN.
Browne says in a statement, "I never assaulted Daryl Hannah, and this fact was confirmed by the investigation conducted at the time by the SANTA MONICA POLICE DEPARTMENT. I am gratified that Fox has agreed to take these steps."
And Browne has also been successful in getting the GURIN COMPANY to remove a scene which refers to the allegation from WHEN CAMERAS CROSS THE LINE, a documentary that originally aired on cable music network VH1.
A written apology has been added to the beginning of the documentary, which states in part, "In a previous version of this programme, we incorrectly reported an alleged incident involving singer Jackson Browne and actress Daryl Hannah... We have deleted that material from our program, and we apologise to Mr Browne for its inclusion."21/07/2003 09:16
