The best-selling author had been secretly battling breast cancer for six years.
Best-selling author Jackie Collins has died age 77, her family have confirmed. Born in London, Collins started as an actress but went on to become a successful novelist with all 32 of her books making the New York Times best-seller list and selling over 500 million copies worldwide.
Jackie Collins has died aged 77.
In a statement her family said, “It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one of a kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today. She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who she has been entertaining for over four decades.”
