Jack White could be adding another Grammy (or more) to his collection of twelve having been nominated in four different categories for next year's ceremony; three for his work on Beyonce's 'Lemonade' and another for his work on his solo compilation 'Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016'.

White has had a total of 36 Grammy nominations over the course of his career, including solo ventures, work as a guest artist and projects with his bands The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. His wins include three prizes for Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Song for Stripes' 'Seven Nation Army' and Best Rock Performance for his 2015 single 'Lazaretto'.

His first two nominations this year are for Album Of The Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album, for his production work and guest appearance on Beyonce's 'Lemonade'; he is also up for Best Rock Performance for his appearance on Beyonce's 'Don't Hurt Yourself' from the same album. His song 'City Lights', from solo compilation album 'Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016', has been nominated for Best American Roots Song. It was a previously unreleased track from his time with the White Stripes, originally set to feature on the band's 2005 album 'Get Behind Me Satan'. He included the track on his compilation record after re-discovering it in 2015 for his Record Store Day vinyl re-release.
