Changes is the stunning fourth single taken from Jack Savoretti's Top 5 Indie Album Breakers Chart release Before The Storm, due for release on December 17, 2012.
Changes is one of the more poignant songs featured on the album; A beautiful soaring piano ballad, complete with strings, showcasing Jacks dulcet tones to the fullest. "It's more reflective and autobiographical, trying to explain the unexplainable and to give comfort along the way" JACK SAVORETTI
2012 has so far been a busy year for Jack, following a successful UK tour, singing with Sienna Miller, festival appearances with non other than the legendry Bruce Sprinsteen, with the rest of the year looking just as impressive! Jack will take to the road this October with his band The Dirty Romantics (Full tour dates below) prior to his performance with Jools Holland at The Royal Albert Hall at the end of the year as well as providing support for Jake Bugg on his European tour in November.
Following on from the success of the 'Take Me Home' cover competition, which saw winner Rebecca Clements play to a sold out Bush Hall in London, Jack Savoretti is holding yet another competition for upcoming musicians in the run up to his Breaking The Rules UK tour this October/ November. Jack will pick his favourite video uploaded to his Facebook page. The winner will be invited to open for Jack at his Scala gig in London on 6th November. The Scala is one of London's premiere live music venues, this promises to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for rising talent.
Produced by the hugely sought after Martin Terefe and The Suppliers (Mary J Blige, James Morrison and Jason Mraz) this studio album has already received massive support from The Guardian, Independent, Gay Times and Daily Star along with BBC Radio 2 play-listing Knock Knock and Take Me Home. Further afield Jack's duet with Sienna Miller Hate & Love has also been used in The Vampire Diaries.
While his writing has always surpassed expectation, this new collection of songs sees an artist coming of age. Lyrically it remains a quintessential Jack Savoretti album, yet the recordings are far more diverse than ever before. With the romantic introspective poetry ever present, there is someone new, a darker, more experienced vocalist asking no longer for acceptance but looking for the good times and on his own terms.
