LATEST: Rocker Jack Bruce has re-confirmed supergroup Cream are set to reunite for one more show, but insists it won't be at Live Earth.
The bass player recently revealed he, Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker are planning a one-off concert later this year (07), sparking reports the trio will be added to the 7 July (07) concerts to raise awareness about global warming.
But Bruce insists the planned show has nothing to do with Live Earth.
He says, "It's a bit later than that."
Clapton persuaded Bruce and Baker to reunite in 2005 after a 37-year split, but long-time hostilities between the bass player and the drummer re-surfaced, ending hopes of a proper comeback after shows in London and New York.
Bruce tells the Associated Press he hopes his upcoming show or shows with Cream are less strenuous than the 2005 concerts, which took place shortly after the bass player had received a liver transplant.
He says, "I hadn't recovered properly yet, so I found it quite difficult."
