Jack Black, the 41-year-old American comedian and actor, dropped by the 'Late Show with Jimmy Fallon' last night (21st December 2010) to discuss his new movie 'Gulliver's Travels'. However, in true Christmas spirit, the actor and host Fallon performed a rendition of 'Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth'.
The pair had the audience in hysterics with their unique reworking of the classic Bing Crosby and David Bowie duet, and Black had also performed the song with Jason Segel for the College Humour website last week. The actor is currently on a publicity tour for his much anticipated new movie 'Gulliver's Travels', based on the novel by JONATHAN SWIFT. Recently, he appeared on the 'Today Show' and spoke to co-host Matt Lauer about wanting to bring the story into the 21st century, saying, "I loved the book. I thought it was super funny. We brought it into modern day New York City. I'm working in the mailroom, and I have a huge crush on the travel editor. I finally get an opportunity to impress her by going on a real writing assignment and writing about the Bermuda Triangle".
The movie, which has been directed by Rob Letterman, also stars Emily Blunt, Billy Connelly, opens on Christmas Day.
