Generous actor Jack Black has donated $10,000 (Gbp6,670) to a high school music group so they can travel to a contest at Disneyland.
The School of Rock star heard about the class from Washington from his mum, who lives in the area and is a supporter of local music programmes.
According to Tmz.com, the class had been entered into a competition at Disneyland in California and was set to perform at the Magic Kingdom, but couldn't afford the travel expenses.
Black happily handed over the cash and the band travelled via coach to Los Angeles on Friday (11Mar11) - when they had lunch with the man himself.
