A fan of socialite Ivanka Trump, who was arrested on suspicion of harassing her on the internet, has been charged with stalking.
Justin Massler set up a fan blog about the businesswoman and revealed he had attempted to telepathically connect with her in a disturbing post earlier this year (Feb10).
Massler was subsequently detained by cops in Reno, Nevada after an arrest warrant was issued in New York, where Trump lives.
The man appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday (01Apr10) and was charged with six crimes, including stalking in the third degree.
Massler was also ordered to stay away from Trump, the daughter of property tycoon-turned-reality TV star Donald Trump, and her famous family, reports TMZ.com.
Massler was ordered to visit a psychiatrist once a week. Bail was set at $16,000 (£10,000).
