Pianist Ingrid Fliter is celebrating after winning the prestigious 2006 Gilmore Artist Award for exceptional pianists.
The 32-year-old Argentine was chosen after committee members of the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival spent two years making the decision.
The $300,000 (GBP167,000) prize is awarded every four years.
Fliter, who has played concerts across the globe, will appear at the festival which takes place from 22 April - 7 May (06).
