Angelina Jolie Appointed As A Visiting Professor At LSE For New Masters Course
Jolie will be a guest lecturer and researcher at the London School of Economics, for a Masters course entitled 'Women, Peace and Security' from 2017.
Angelina Jolie has been appointed as a visiting professor at the London School of Economics to teach a new course about the impact of war and security issues on women as of next year.
The prestigious British university announced on Monday (May 23rd) that the A-list actress and director has been appointed as a ‘professor in practice’ alongside former foreign secretary William Hague on a new MSc course titled ‘Women, Peace and Security’, a one year course that will begin in 2017 and for which students can apply from this autumn.
The 40 year old star will give guest lectures, participate in workshops and undertake her own research, taking part in teaching at least once in the academic year and on further occasions as her schedule will allow.
