| Hello, and greetings from Mumbai. Just finished watching The Pianist. Was very impressed by Thomas Kretschmann performance. Was so impressed that i googled him immediately and found out about his film career. Its the perfect and best example of an actor making huge impact with a very small part. | I think Thomas Kretschmann is going to be a big star in this country. I wasn't much interested in the movie "King Kong," but Thomas Kretschmann commanded my attention, as did he in "The Pianist." I find it refreshing to see a manly actor who gives the impression of having done some genuine living! There is so much nepotism in Hollywood with pampered relatives of stars, producers, and directors performing rather unconvincingly, no matter how talented they are, simply because they have not really lived. Thomas Kretschmann has it all! He is a powerful and moving actor. | ||
