| Rosie, I am not sure if you would read this or not, but if you do I would just like to thank you for the independant film you done. It was amazing! Growing up and going to school I never knew anything about Puerto Rico. In school they would say Puerto Rico is a common wealth of the United States of America...next chapter. And I was and I still am very frustrated with the school systems treatment on Puerto Rico. Here is one example that frustrates me: Mexico, I love the people, I love the culture and everything about it. Why you may ask, because I learned about it at school. This is a place where the United States for some reason is trying to shut the doors on to stop illegal immagration and yet we learn so much about their history. Then we go to Puerto Ricans, who are United States Citizens and we learn nothing about who we are and where we come from. How does that make sense? This is exactly why I am very grateful for what you did. It is amazing and it is something that I would want to share with everybody. I was always Proud of who I am, and now why. | ||

| YO SOY BORICUA PA QUE TU LO SEPAS, was off the hook, Rosie you made us proud to be boricuas. My deepest respect to you as a director and fellow Puerto Rican. You taught all of us a history lesson that the majority of us never knew. With respectability, you brought to light the struggle of our forefathers and how they all fought for the good of our heritage. YO SE SOY BORICUA PA QUE TU LO SEPAS, thank you Rosie for being a true boricua. | ||
