Playboy is one of the world’s best known brands. Formed in 1953 as a pornographic magazine, with a difference by Hugh Hefner, Playboy has grown into a global multi-media bastion of male titillation.
What set Playboy apart from the crowd in the early days was the magazines attitude to content. Since its inception Playboy has always carried serious articles on politics, fashion, sport as well as many other subjects of popular culture. Over its tenure Playboy magazine has featured short stories from some of the worlds leading literary lights such as J. G. Ballard, Arthur C Clark, Roald Dahl, Frederick Forsyth, Stephen King and many more.
Playboy is now published in many countries and the issues are nation specific.
