Pete And The Pirates Biography

Pete And The Pirates are a five piece band from Reading, England. Forming three and a half years ago, they've been friends since school. With their skewed rhythms, layered harmonies and intriguing stop/start tunes, Pete And The Pirates have amassed an ardent following through their live performances. They have released two EP's through Stolen Recordings, both championed by Radio 1 and BBC 6Music's Steve Lamacq, XFM Radio's John Kennedy (who brought the band in for a live session), and Time Out Magazine who have consistently featured the band in their live review section. Pete And The Pirates have just finished recording their debut album with producer Gareth Parton (The Killers, The Go! Team, Futureheads) which will be released later this year. (2007)
