Olivia Colman

Olivia was nominated for the 2012 BAFTA for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for her performance as Sally Owen in Twenty Twelve.

Other recent screen appearances include Tyrannosaur directed by Paddy Considine, for which she won a World Cinema Special Jury Prize for breakout performance at Sundance, and best actress awards at the British International Film Awards and Evening Standard British Film Awards, and The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep directed by Phyllida Lloyd. On television, as well as Twenty Twelve, her most recent credits include Jimmy McGovern's ACCUSED for BBC1 alongside Anne-Marie Duff and Bad Sugar, a Tiger Aspect pilot for Channel 4, written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (Peep Show), directed by Ben Palmer (Inbetweeners Movie) and co-starring Sharon Horgan and Julia Davis. The three lead actresses concieved the idea for the show together.

On stage Olivia most recently appeared in the West End at the Noel Coward Theatre as Myra Arundel in Howard Davies's production of Hay Fever.

Upcoming credits include Hyde Park On Hudson with Bill Murray and Sam West, TV Dramas Run for Channel 4 and Broadchurch for ITV1 and the comedy feature films Cuban Fury for Big Talk and I Give It A Year for Working Title.

She trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
