Middleman

Middleman write vibrant, catchy tunes with booming bass lines, cheeky bleepy melodies and smart lyrics in a style that’s impossible to pigeonhole. A raucous live band, Middleman is all about the friends, the gigs, the fun, the dancing and the music. Middleman are a four piece band from Leeds who have already been kicking up a storm with their self-produced 3 track demo recorded in late-2006. Receiving plays and props from Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens on Radio 1, they were nominated “unsigned band of the week” on Steve Lamacq’s Radio 1 show, and recorded a Maida Vale session for Huw Stephens who also made them his 'hottest tip for 2007' on the BBC Radio 1 podcast. They were also nominated for the unsigned act of the year by Channel 4.



Middleman have always been a d.i.y band, with a relentless work ethic, in only a year of existence they have played 130 gigs and even though now they have a manager and label they are still producing their own records, making their own videos and doing all of their own artwork.
