| Re: Morrissey Firstly, as a long-term Smiths and Morrissey fan, I support the action you are taking against the NME re: the 'racist/immigration' slur and the misrepresentation of Morrissey and the journalist/interviewer for the sake of the NME piously denouncing racism. Secondly:- Morrissey is in demand always as a a live act and the Roundhouse dates sold out within 15 minutes online. My patner and myself attempted to get online while at work and failed to get through - I work in the NHS and don't really have time to sit on internet! We failed to get London tickets for the Palladium also, ended up buying tickets on ebay for Glasgow and Oxford. I've been following Morrissey since The Smiths in 1983 but haven't seen him to speak to since about 1992. I live about a mile from the Roundhouse but cannot afford the ridiculous prices tickets are going for on e-bay at present. Can there not be another way for fans to get tickets? I'm on See tickets and Ticketmaster but was not alerted to any pre-sale. London is my home town, I'm 38, work hard but badly paid and want to see Morrissey on my home turf!!! Any suggestions? PLease send my regards to Morrissey - we are considering a day trip to Lille on 19th Jan if all else fails! 'Hampstead' Jo (Cooper) | ||
