Set to hit theaters this weekend, 'Kill Me Three Times' sees Simon Pegg in yet another violent parody, this time taking on the classic hitman-action drama. Pegg and director Kriv Stenders reveal the paradigms that make the genre so fun to lampoon.

He's mocked the zombie horror, the cop thriller, the sci-fi adventure, the romance drama and the period thriller, but now Pegg has taken on what looks to be one of his most fun roles yet, playing experienced assassin Charlie Wolfe in this complicated tale of betrayal, infidelity and revenge. And it seems Pegg and Stenders were on the same wavelength before filming even started.

Kill Me Three Times - Red Band Trailer

Charlie Wolfe (Simon Pegg) is a professional hit man. Living in Australia, he take the odd job here and there, killing people for money. One day, he is asked to find proof that a man's wife is cheating on him and, not knowing that it will change his life forever, he accepts. Wolfe finds the evidence he needs and receives his payment, but then accepts a job from the same client, who now wants him to kill the wife. The catch? She's just run away with the money that the client intends to pay him with. When Wolfe discovers that he's not the only person hunting for the money, things start to get weird, and Wolfe discovers that his job may not be as simple as he first thought.

Ryan is a former soldier who finds himself in the back of a truck with a young boy who's been kidnapped. He has no idea how he got there but he resolves to help the boy find a way out. After he does that, however, he strangely only has a little under ten minutes before he loses consciousness again, but he must use his brief bursts of life to find out what is happening to him. When he discovers that he is part of an extremely unethical experiment that aims to find a way to control the ever increasing population through mind control, he sets out to meet his own puppeteer Dr. Langham. It isn't long, though, before the professor's merciless son Harkin Langham gets involved, and Ryan finds himself fighting not only for his autonomy, but for his very life too.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly called time on their relationship. No really.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split, just weeks after the actor's brothers Chris Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth staged an intervention with their young sibling, raising concerns about his engagement to the pop singer. Now, according to multiple sources who spoke with Us Weekly, the pair have ended their relationship and will no longer be tying the knot.

"They are definitely over," one insider close to the ex-lovebirds reveals this week. The pair met on the set of romantic drama The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged last summer when Hemsworth pulled out a 3.5-carat diamond ring for his wife to be. The split comes after months of tension between the pair, which culminated with Liam being spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont with Mad Men actress January Jones following a pre-Oscar party on February 23, 2013. Prior to that, the Hunger Games actor had regrouped with his family in Australia while rumors of a split swirled in Los Angeles.

Despite the reports, Miley, 20, shared a picture of herself on Twitter wearing what appears to be a wedding dress. The picture was taken the same day that she shot her new video - according to The Sun - therefore it could be for a wedding scene and not her actual dress.

Did the Hemsworth brothers succeed or fail in their intervention?

Liam Hemsworth's brothers Chris and Luke became so worried about their young siblings rocky relationship with Miley Cyrus that they staged an intervention last month, reports Us Weekly. "They want him to end the romance for good," a source told the magazine about the brothers attempt to get their point across.

Rumors of Hemsworth and Cyrus splitting had been swirling for months, including one report that there wedding plans have all but ended. A source told the magazine the duo "aren't done" though another insider said "Liam's pulling away."

Miley recently explained to V Magazine why she and Hemsworth hadn't spent much time together in recent months. "I'm not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work," she explained, "I don't have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don't. I'd rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I'm at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio." She is also said to be spending most of her time working on a new album.
