Kate Upton is model best known for appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Kate Upton: Childhood
Kate Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan and grew up in Melbourne, Florida. Her parents are former tennis champion Shelley and school athletics director Jeff Upton.
She attended the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.
She used to compete in national horse riding competitions with the American Paint Horse Association and won three APHA Reserve World Championships and was named the 13 and Under Reserve All-Around Champion.

Kate Upton: Modelling career
Kate Upton signed with Elite Model Management in 2008 before moving to New York and signing with IMG Models.
Her first modelling ventures were for Damien Haumpy Garage and Dooney & Bourke before she became the face of Guess in 2010.
In 2011, she made her first appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and was named Rookie of the Year.
In the same year, she then modelled for Beach Bunny Swimwear and was in Complex and Esquire while being named as 'The Woman of the Summer'. A video of her doing the dougie hip-hop dance at an LA Clippers game went viral, soon to be followed by another of her performing the 'Cat Daddy' by The Rej3ctz in 2012.
In 2012, she appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and was later announced to appear on the 2013 Issue, for which she did her topless photoshoot in the Antarctic and caught frostbite in the -20 degree temperatures.
She has also appeared in American Vogue and Italian Vogue.

Kate Upton: Other career ventures
Kate Upton made her acting debut in the movie 'Tower Heist', as the mistress of Mr. She also appeared in The Three Stooges as Sister Bernice.
