	I first went to a James Blunt concert not knowing anything about him except that he was the "You're Beautiful" guy. I was absolutely blown away by him, his band and his music. He did a silent auction and donated all the proceeds. How many stars would do that? He is not in the business for money, he seems to be in it because it is who he is. I was excited to hear that he was going on tour again. I can't wait to see him in concert again. But unfortunatley he is not coming to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. PLEASE JAMES, COME BACK TO CALGARY. It's too expensive to travel in this country and I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU AGAIN. Your music speaks like no other's. Keep doing what you are doing. I can't wait for another album. Im not sure if you will read this, but I hope someone does and you book a concert in Calgary.

	James,Having had a husband who served in the Vietnam war, I can relate to your lyrics. He passed away 13 years ago at the age of 44. I always felt that he lived to die. The only comment he ever had about his tour was that at the age of 19 he had experienced every emotion at it's peak and that there was not much to look forward to. He said that he would never again be as scared, happy, sad, glad, horrified, elated, etc. They all peaked at such a young age. He died of a massive heart attack even before they started to acknowledge the vets of Vietnam as heroes. It was a senseless war, but he did what he was asked to do for what he thought was for his country. It ruined his life. When I listen to your music I think of him and realize that you have touched on what he must have felt, but kept inside. I hope that he is at peace now. We have two sons, 31 and 22 and I don't know how to explain his pain to them except through your words. Thank you for that and I hope that bringing your pain to music is healing for you.God speed,Judy

	When I first saw 'You're Beautiful' appear on my tv Ihated it. Every channel I switched onto James was there. So I decided to just watch it and see whatall the fuss was about. WOW!! From then on I was hooked. I went out and broughtthe album. I can still remember taking my cd player to school just so I could listen to it. It's not like me to listen to an album and enjoy every song, but'Back To Bedlam' has something about it, something spiritual. It annoyed me when the album got voted as "most depressing album of 2005" (what songs are depressing?). 'High' - sitting on a cliff watching the sun come up, real depressing. 'You're beautiful' - a song about seeing a beautiful woman, yeah, that's depressing. 'Wisemen' - three wisemen living in a semi by the sea, I can see how that's depressing (not). 'Goodbye My Lover' - it's a song about loss,of course that's depressing, but it's a feeling we have all felt and every album has at least one depressing song on it. 'Tears And Rain' - someone please point out where this song is depressing because I really don't know, it's got a great tune and some great lines, how is it depressing?? 'Out Of My Mind' -If anyone says this song is depressing they want slapping! 'So Long, Jimmy' - When you hear a guitar played this well you can't help but smile, definitely NOT depressing. 'Billy' - This song is so neatly presented that you could put it on repeat and not tire of it. 'Cry' - a song that lets you know you'll alwayshave a shoulder to cry on (correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's comfort, not depression). 'No Bravery' -A song to send a shiver down your spine, but it won't make you feel depressed. 'Back To Bedlam' is brilliantly written, beautifully sung, with stunning instrumentals. Sorry I've written an essay, but I just had to get my point across. I wish James the best of luck for the future

	Your tunes are basic and boring with no instrumental variation or interest. Your lyrics are simple with little meaning. The songs on your album all sound the same and there isn't any variation amongst them within your specific style. All your CD is good for is to use as a coaster and you have a voice like a giant smurf. Stop hogging the top places in the charts when there are hundreds of other great, and rubbish, bands better than you.
