Part of the fertile Leeds scene but creating musical soundscapes that stand apart from their contemporaries, iLIKETRAiNS played their first gig in February 2004, almost eight years after vocalist/guitarist Dave and guitarist Guy first started writing songs together. Little over a year and three self-released demos later, iLiKETRAiNS sold out every copy of the dark, brooding murder ballad 'BEFORETHECURTAiNSCLOSE' on the Leeds-based Dance_To_The_Radio label off the back of phenomenal local and national press, and live performances described by Sandman Magazine as "at times enthralling, other times haunting, always hypnotic." Incorporating projections and with the band decked out in matching British Rail uniforms, a packed-out tour and notable appearances at The Marquee and Club Fandango culminated in an appearance at this year's Leeds Carling Weekend festival.
