Hailee Steinfeld is an American actress.
Hailee Steinfeld: Childhood
Hailee Steinfeld was born in Tarzana, Los Angeles but grew up in Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks. Her parents are Cheri, an interior designer, and Peter Steinfeld, a personal trainer.
She attended Ascension Lutheran School, Conejo Elementary and Colina Middle School but is currently receiving home-schooling.
Hailee Steinfeld: Acting career
Hailee Steinfeld was in the award-winning short film, 'She's a Fox'.
In 2010, she appeared in 'True Grit' as Mattie Ross for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. The film also starred Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin.
She was cast as Juliet in 2013's 'Romeo and Juliet' written by Julian Fellowes. Douglas Booth plays Romeo.

I like Hailee a lot. For a relative newcomer to the screen, she is remarkably talented. I'm looking forward to her new movies this year. I hope she wins an Oscar some day. If I were voting, I'd have given her one for True Grit. The "bathroom" scene struck me as being very funny. I bought it on DVD. |
