Hi SusanI, too, am a long-time fan of Edd Byrnes. I grew up waiting for Friday night to watch "77 Sunset Strip." I have followed his career through the years. I might suggest that you read Mr. Byrnes' book, "Kookie, No More." It's a wonderful look into his life. Also, he has a audio book, "My Casino," which I think you'll find most interesting. In both, Mr. Byrnes writes and speaks with honesty and humor. Good luck in your search. CarolAnnbroadwaters@optonline.net |

Hi! Edward,I desperately want to meet you in person. I am almost sixty-one years, fourteen years your junior. But the age difference doesn't matter, does it? As a friend, please be my friend.I am, as you already know, a Cerebral Palsy Quadriplegic from birth. I plan to write a hard-covered novel titled "Never To Marry" which will be time consuming.Looking forward to receiving an email from you.Your fan then, now and always,Susan P.S.May I have a copy of this please?Thank you very much |

When television first commenced in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, my eldest uncle and aunt invited my parents, my brother and me to their Camp Hill residence to watch some of the television programmes. The series of "77 Sunset Strip" was screened on each Friday night and you became my first idol. During 1960 my parents bought our own television set and we used to watch "77 Sunset Strip" each Friday evening. Just seeing you made me so happy, so much so I had your picture in a frame on my bedside table. I have never forgotten you nor I shall ever forget you. One of my mother's sisters gave me a long playing record titled Kookie and listening to records became one of my favourite hobbies. Eventually, the LP record was warped but I have still the front cover. Kind Regards,Susan MacDonald[Female Cerebral Palsy Quadriplegic] |
