Dot Allison Biography
Dot Allison, former lead singer of Scottish ambient-dub trio One Dove, signed to Heavenly in 1998. One Dove, signed to Boy's Own in the early '90s, made a seminal album ("Morning Dove White"), grazed the Top 40 on several occasions and became darlings of the indie press. After the success of the first album, One Dove fell foul when Boy's Own were dropped by London Records. There second album was passed on, the band were dropped and they split soon after.
