Diplo

Diplo has been making a little noise on the under under for a while but now it's time to really bring it on. Born in Mississippi, raised in Florida and now currently residing in North Philly where the Hollertronix parties he DJs at have been featured stateside in issues of both XXL and The Fader, Diplo makes the kind of hard-edged, razor-drummed, krunked up Southern bounce you've only dreamt of. But he ties this to a fantastic ear for a sample and a really musical way of making instrumental hip hop. Actually, that makes him sound lame. In fact he's just a pure avant-gully human jawn machine.
