Demi Lovato was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised in Dallas, Texas. Her parents are musician and engineer Patrick Martin and former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Dianna Lee Hart.
Lovato started out acting on 'Barney & Friends' with Selena Gomez. At a young age, she pursued an interest in music, learning piano and guitar. She also took acting and dancing classes.
