Dead Disco
Dead Disco Biography
Brand new Yorkshire band Dead Disco formed in August 2005, and have already been crowned Crowned "Leeds' electro glamour-pusses" by NME. Victoria, Lucy, and Marie share a mutual love of The Bangles, Blondie, the Killers and indie electro pop beyond. They recorded their debut single 'The Treatment' with producer James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco, and will be releasing it in Spring on Manchester label High Voltage. Drummer Damien joined in late November 2005 in time for the recent recording of 'City Place' which features on the new 'Dance to the Radio' compilation. They have already notched up airplay on BBC6 and XFM, and are planning a UK tour in the near future.
