David Lynch Donald Trump

David Lynch has spoken out in an open letter to Donald Trump to clarify comments that he made about him in a recent interview, which the President took as an endorsement of his administration. Anybody who knows of David Lynch and his work knows that he does not have Republican views, but for some reason many took his recent statement regarding the President out of context, including Trump himself who re-Tweeted the headline 'Director David Lynch: Trump Could Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents' from Breitbart.

Why David Lynch Rejected Nine Inch Nails' First 'Twin Peaks' Song Offering

Nine Inch Nails David Lynch Trent Reznor

It went without saying that Nine Inch Nails would make a live appearance at the Roadhouse on the new 'Twin Peaks' series, but it seems that creator David Lynch had a very specific idea on what kind of sound he wanted from them for the eighth episode.

Band members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross recently opened up about their collaboration with David Lynch on 'Twin Peaks: The Return' - a project that they really didn't need much persuading to join. As it turns out, the song that they sung at the Roadhouse entitled 'She's Gone Away' was written especially for the show, and ended up also being included on the 'Not the Actual Events' EP.

The Music Of 'Twin Peaks The Return'

David Lynch Nine Inch Nails Eddie Vedder

So that's it for the reunion series of 'Twin Peaks', and the 18 episodes definitely seem to have gone by so quickly. Perhaps some of the most enjoyable moments in the whole series were the great many musical guests that appeared at the Road House (and elsewhere).

David Lynch has always taken music seriously in his filmmaking, so we wouldn't have expected anything other than an electrifying auditory experience and that's exactly what we got with these artists during 'Twin Peaks: The Return'. Needless to say, the cool jazz-infused flavour from the original series is somewhat lacking - but then you can't have everything...

David Lynch: The Art Life Trailer

Ever wondered where David Lynch gets his ideas for the weird nuances and surreal undertones of his movies? This new documentary explores how his childhood in Philadelphia informed his later work in film and on canvas, how there were plenty of people to take inspiration from on those dark streets. In 'David Lynch: The Art Life', he reflects on how his creative process has developed over the years and delves deep into his love of painting. He may be best known as a director; at the helm of 'The Elephant Man', 'Dune', 'Blue Velvet' and 'Twin Peaks' among others; but art has always been his number one passion in life.

Kyle appeared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' to talk about his return to the David Lynch TV show and to show off his Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure of Dale Cooper. While he couldn't actually say much about what's coming, he did insist that it would be completely different.

Forget Damn Good Coffee, Check Out David Lynch's Damn Good Donut In 'Twin Peaks' Trailer

David Lynch

It's probably the most uninformative trailer of the year, but a new teaser for the upcoming third season of 'Twin Peaks' has arrived just to remind us of its imminent approach. It features creator David Lynch, being very Lynch, which suggests he'll make a return cameo in the new series.

David LynchDavid Lynch shares his snack with us

To the famous theme tune of the series, David Lynch munches a damn good glazed donut with a look of pure concentration on his face in the new trailer for 'Twin Peaks'. It seems he will reprise his cameo role of FBI chief Gordon Cole. It's not unusual of David Lynch to share little of a story's plot in a trailer, but we're amazed at how mesmerizing it is to watch him eating sugary goods.
