His reign as King of the Blues has been as long as that of any monarch on earth. Yet B.B. King continues to wear his crown well. At age 76, he is still light on his feet, singing and playing the blues with relentless passion. Time has no apparent effect on B.B., other than to make him more popular, more cherished, more relevant than ever. Don't look for him in some kind of semi-retirement; look for him out on the road, playing for people, popping up in a myriad of T.V. commercials, or laying down tracks for his next album. B.B. King is as alive as the music he plays, and a grateful world can't get enough of him.

| We paid $70 a ticket to see Buddy Guy & B.B. King in St. Louis on 2/18/10. We are HUGE Blues fans. Buddy was absolutely AMAZING. B.B. King sat in a chair for a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes. He played two parts of the first two songs and NEVER PLAYED HIS GUITAR AGAIN. He sat and talked to the sold out crowd for 54 minutes with a bass drum & cymbal background before we finanlly had enough of a lecture, and got up to leave. He literally did nothing but TALK. No singing, no playing the guitar...(his band was quite awesome) he basically stole our money. What he did was wrong. He should not have a concert if he never intends on playing any music. His horns and bakc up guitarist did all the work in the first two songs. Retire already and don/t steal peoples money and call it a concert. | ||

| "It Ain't Snowing In Memphis" Looking out the window. Feeling cold inside. It ain't snowing in Memphis. Chilling to the bone. Baby by my side. It ain't snowing in Memphis. How I wish I were in Memphis. Walking down Beale St. Sipping on a Coke. Hearing BB sing the Blues. Cause it ain't snowing in Memphis. Cause it ain't snowing in Memphis. | ||
