The King and the undisputed queen, Adele, are still on top of the UK album and singles chart.
There’s no change at the top of the UK album and singles chart this week, as Elvis Presley and Adele continue to hold on to the number one spots respectively. Adele is celebrating her third week on top of the singles chart with ‘Hello’, which has now been certified Platinum by the BPI.

Despite being in it’s third week of release, ‘Hello’ managed to outsell its nearest competitor by over 34,000 combined chart sales this week. It is also this week’s most streamed track, racking up 4.7 million listens. ‘Hello’ is the first single from Adele’s upcoming third album, 25, which is due out on November 20th.

Most famous for being an actor, comedian and TV presenter, Armstrong seems to have hidden talents.
He might be best known for his comedic and presenting skills, but actor Alexander Armstrong is set to make a move into the world of music. The presenter of the BBC’s popular game show ‘Pointless’ has announced that he’s to record a classical music album.
Armstrong has signed to Warner Music subsidiary label East West to make an album of choral music to “celebrate songs of the British Isles”, and will begin work on it later this summer. He will collaborate with producer Simon Franglen, who has worked on movie soundtracks with the likes of James Horner and Thomas Newman for films like Avatar, Skyfall, The Amazing Spider-Man and Titanic.
Pretty illustrious company he’ll be keeping for a debut record, then!

Alexander Armstrong, the comedian, actor and presenter of 'Pointless', is to voice Danger Mouse in a revamped version of the 80s cartoon. The show will air on CBBC starting in 2015.

The acclaimed actor and comedian Kevin Eldon - best known for Big Train and Brass Eye - will voice Danger Mouse's loyal assistant Penfold while the recognisable voice of Come Dine With Me's Dave Lamb will narrate the series. Shauna Macdonald will play Professor Squawkencluck while Morwenna Banks will voice numerous parts.
