Shaggy Buddy Holly In America Jimmy Cliff Morgan Heritage Toots And The Maytals Indigo2

Shaggy will be running ''like Usain Bolt'' to see the Men's 100 metres sprint final on Sunday (05.07.12).

The 'It Wasn't Me' hitmaker is performing at the Respect Jamaica 50 series of concerts at The O2 on the same day the final takes place, and dashing between the venue and the Olympic stadium in Stratford to cheer on his friend and countryman in the final.

He said: ''I'm really into the track and field events. The 100 metres final is on the fifth, but I'm going to do my very best to get over there and see it. I'm going to be like Bolt myself, rushing to it then rushing over to the O2 for my own show.''

Shaggy doesn't think artists make ''classic'' pop songs anymore.

The 'Mr Boombastic' hitmaker's recent output has seen him return to his Jamaican Roots, as he doesn't think the songs in the charts today have any longevity to them.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''I make the music I want to make, it's a different game out there now. The type of music that's going out in the charts isn't the type of music I want to make.

The 'MMMBop' band - made up of brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson - say the wild antics of their followers have seen them go to great lengths to meet them, and they feel bad about having to dodge them in rock star style.

Isaac exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "There has been so many unusual things happen to us - like not being able to go out of a hotel because there are too many people in the lobby. So you have to like sneak out the back way, jump in a van with tinted windows, just so you can have dinner.
