When her father, a police officer investigating a human trafficking case, is murdered along with her mother, Sawa (India Eisley) vows to take revenge. Six years later, Sawa is 18 years old and ready to strike back against the cartels that she believes caused her to become an orphan at the age of 12. With the help from her father's old partner, the renegade cop Karl Aker (Samuel L. Jackson), Sawa battles her way through cartel while taking the drug 'Amp' to make her forget about the atrocities she is committing. As the memories of her parents begin to fade as well, she takes refuge in the comfort of Oburi (Callan McAuliffe), her childhood sweetheart, that knows the truth about her past.

Eisley was set to play a younger version of Jolie's evil title character in the live-action film, but was recently replaced after producers had to re-shoot the opening scenes, according to TheWrap.com.
The movie, which tells the story of the villainess' beginnings and why she cursed Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, was originally filmed last summer (12) and is set for release next year (May14).
India Eisley, the 18-year-old American actress, will play a younger version of Angelina Jolie's character in Disney's forthcoming Sleeping Beauty reboot Maleficent. The film is still in the early stages, but competition for parts is heating up and Eisley appears to have landed a substantial role.

India Eisley is to play a young Angelina Jolie in a Disney movie.
The 18-year-old actress will feature as the child version of Angelina's character, who goes by the film's title, Maleficent.
Both ladies will portray different ages of the self-proclaimed Mistress of All Evil in the 'Sleeping Beauty' adaptation.
