Last year, Californian alt-rock band Incubus launched their first album in six years, '8', which features their single 'Loneliest'. Now they unveil a beautiful new video to go with it and we can't take our eyes off these dancers.
The video is a black and white dance performance piece expressing romance, loneliness and the kind of melancholy that only Incubus can create with their music. It's actually the second single off '8', following lead track 'Nimble B*****d' and preceding 'No Fun'. 'Glitterbomb', 'State of the Art' and 'Undefeated' were the promotional singles from the release.
'8' went to number four in the US charts after it was released in April 2017 through Island Records. They worked with film score genius Dave Sardy and Leandro Dusso Jr. during album production, with their pal Skrillex later mixing and re-producing the work.
The album was intended to be Side B of their 'Trust Fall' EP, until they realised that the writing process was going a little better than they'd anticipated.
'Speak and Spell' was released on this day (October 5th) in 1981.
It's October 3rd! And you know what that means...
