'Run For Your Wife' Premiere Sees Danny Dyer, Denise Van Outen And Sarah Harding On Red Carpet (Pictures)
The London premiere for the upcoming movie 'Run For Your Wife' was a particularly British affair last night (February 5th 2013). Making their appearances on the red carpet were a number of Brit reality stars, TV presenters and actors both young and old preparing for their first viewing of Ray Cooney's stunning new comedy.
The truly hilarious 'Football Factory' star Danny Dyer donned a smart-casual ensemble for the event; a grey suit jacket with a shirt unbuttoned at the top to reveal a tuft of chest hair. He is our main star for the movie, playing the part of serial bigamist John Smith whose taxi driving job allows him to live a happy double life with two partners before catching the attention of the local authorities.
His two wives, played by presenter Denise Van Outen and Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, also made appearances at the premiere in similar style floor-length gowns; Denise opted for a simple black number with a lacy front, while Sarah literally let her hair down and shimmered in a sparkly lace outfit. 'Run For Your Wife' is the first film role that Sarah has picked up since trying her hand at acting in the 2009 movie 'St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold'. It is a similar situation for Denise, who last acted on TV in a 2009 episode of 'Hotel Babylon'.
Other cast members that were snapped on the red carpet last night were former 'Men Behaving Badly' star Neil Morrissey in a smart bow tie who landed the role of John Smith's best friend Gary Gardner; a well-meaning pal who tries to help hide his affairs but only ends up making things worse; as well as 'Eastenders' actress Kellie Shirley, comedian Barry Cryer and actor and dancer Lionel Blair.
'Loose Women' presenter Denise Welch was also a favourite at the event dressed in an eye-catching scarlet frock and matching lippie. The 'Celebrity Big Brother' series nine winner was also joined by her former housemate Kirk Norcross along with several other members of the TOWIE cast including Lydia Bright and Billi Mucklow.
