This heavy-handed drug-war thriller proves that Oliver Stone has lost the ability to tell a balanced story. And the all-star cast seems clueless about why they're here. Except a vamping Salma Hayek.

Noel Clarke wrote, produced and costars in this shameless British knock-off of Bridesmaids and The Hangover. Aside from forgetting to include a single likeable character, there isn't one decent gag.

3. The Watch

Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill are idiots who take on aliens in this lame, mean-spirited comedy that squanders its premise and never makes us laugh at its cheap, obvious jokes.

4. A Thousand Kisses Deep

This highbrow time-travel romance collapses under the weight of its mopey, hole-ridden plot. And it certainly doesn't help that leading man Dougray Scott plays a deeply unlikeable loser.

5. The Lucky One

The flimsy plot of this schmaltzy romantic drama hinges on a series of numbingly inane coincidences. And while Zac Efron is decent as a buff Marine, the script leaves him with nothing to do.

6. Fun Size

A good idea (a Halloween-themed comedy) is wasted in this frantic, resolutely silly romp that desperately tries to undermine its humour with sentimentality and romance. A real mess.

Decent visual effects aren't enough to save this ill-conceived thriller about beautiful young Americans caught in Moscow during an alien invasion. So thinly written that the plot never reaches full speed.

10. Piranha 3DD

What a waste! After the guilty pleasure of Piranha 3D, this sequel could have been even funnier. Alas, this dud's biggest joke was David Hasselhoff spoofing himself. But when isn't he?
