It's no surprise that Gisele Bundchen has topped Forbes' list of the world’s highest paid models for the eighth year running. Earning an astonishing $47 million last year alone, the Brazilian beauty stands head and shoulders above the rest of her fellow catwalkers. But which other models made the list of 2013's highest earners?

Gisele Bundchen Gisele Bundchen, unlikely to be strapped for cash anytime soon

1. Gisele Bundchen ($47million)

The reigning queen of the catwalk Gisele had another lucrative year at the top thanks to her contracts with brands such as H&M, Chanel, and Carolina Herrera. Aside from modelling, Gisele also raked in the cash thanks to her other job, designing jelly sandals for Brazilian shoemaker Grendene. But that’s not all, Gisele also has her own line of Hope lingerie, ‘Gisele Bundchen Intimates', which ensures the cash just keeps rolling in for the 34 year old.

The model also manages to supplement her income by designing some very pricey sweaters for the Swiss brand Repeat Cashmere.

2013 was another lucrative year for the newly single Adriana. The longest serving Victoria’s Secret Angel was last year announced as Desigual’s new brand ambassador during Barcelona fashion week. Lima also once again found herself as the face of Maybelline cosmetics, over a decade since first posing for the brand.
