Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds struggled to enjoy the rush of adrenaline he experienced after performing at the recent Grammy Awards, because he was too busy vomiting from ingesting the red powder used onstage.

The rockers teamed up with Kendrick Lamar at January's (14) prizegiving to deliver one of the most energetic sets of the night with a mash-up of Radioactive with the rapper's hit m.A.A.d. city, but the coloured dust used to create atmosphere during their strobe-light show proved troublesome for the singer.

Reynolds tells the New York Post, "When we were performing, the red chalk went into my mouth. I was throwing up the moment we got offstage!"

The night wasn't all bad for the rocker - Imagine Dragons claimed the Grammy for Best Rock Performance for Radioactive.
