In 2014, she released her debut album 'The New Classic' through Virgin EMI and Island Records, featuring lead single 'Work', and it topped the US Rap charts. Other singles include the number one 'Fancy' featuring Charli XCX and 'Black Widow' featuring Rita Ora. The album was announced to be re-issued later in the year in an expanded version entitled 'Reclassified'.
Personal life: Although born in Sydney, Iggy Azalea grew up in Mullumbimby, New South Wales with her artist father Brendan and cleaner mother Tanya. She claims to have Aborigine blood due to a culture-wide eye condition her family possesses. She left high school at 16 after saving money from working alongside her mother and moved to the US, going from Miami, to Houston, to Atlanta and eventually LA.
The 22 year old quit One Direction back in March, and is now making the first steps towards a solo career.

But now Spears appears to have hit back at her collaborator's comments, by posting a cryptic tweet seemingly aimed at the rapper.

The Great Escape Tour has been plagued by problems from the get go.
Iggy Azalea has officially pulled the plug on her ‘Great Escape Tour’ which had been due to kick off in September after it was originally delayed last month. The rapper took to Twitter to formally addressed the tour’s cancellation, telling fans she was sorry for letting them down.
Iggy will not be making a Great Escape this fall.
‘As u may know, the tour is cancelled. I'm so sad and sorry to let my fans down...we'll be back out on the road when the next album is done,’ Azalea told fans on Friday vis twitter. The tour, which would have been Azalea’s first time playing arenas, was due begin on September 18th in San Diego.
