Idris Elba gets aroused by wearing a bow tie.
The 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' actor joked that getting dressed up in fancy suits for the forthcoming awards season turns him on, especially when he wears a formal necktie.
He wrote on Twitter: ''My Bow makes my d**k hard every time I smile...is that normal? (sic)''
He then posted another picture of him adjusting his bow tie with a cheeky smile on his face, and captioned it: ''Had fun...releasing the beast..:) (jokes) (sic)''
The tweet prompted an enormous response from the British star's fans, leading him to add: ''Wowsers! Crazy how many new followers you get when you mention the D*** If I owned a Bow tie company I'd be laughing. Dickie Bows by Driis.''
Idris - who is expecting a baby with his make-up artist girlfriend Naiyana Garth - may find himself wearing a bow tie quite often in coming months as his portrayal of South African civil rights leader Nelson Mandela for his latest film has been nominated for many awards including a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama. The film is also hotly tipped to gain a few Oscar nominations when they are announced on January 16.
The actor has said he strived to portray the former president of South Africa in a human way, and show what he was like behind is public profile.
He explained: ''Everyone talks about how he walked into a room and you would feel [special] when you met him. He was also very funny and was always making people smile, which is very funny because he seems so serious.
''It's kind of interesting to know that he liked to joke, he's a human. He had his flaws, he had his moments. We wanted to make him real.''
The Californian rockers were defiant in their intention to play the venue once again.
