Rapper and actor Ice-T is securing his move from Los Angeles to New York by putting his Hollywood Hills home on the market.

The hip-hop star, real name TRACY MARROW, is asking $2.2 million (GBP1.4 million) for the home, which he purchased in 1992 for $1.2 million (GBP800,000).

Listing agent HEIDI LAKE says, "The house features an enormous sun deck that makes you feel as if you're on top of the world."

The home also features a four-room recording studio - which has been used by 'N Sync's Jc Chasez and Sugar Ray rocker MARK McGRATH - with its own 1,000-gallon shark tank.

Ice-T, 45, plans to spend more time in the New York City area, where his hit show LAW + ORDER films.
