Tara Reid, following the Twitter fuelled success of SyFy's 'Sharknado', has said she would be happy to reprise her role in a sequel of the TV disaster movie.
Tara Reid has announced she wouldn't reject the idea of featuring in a sequel of the film. She said in an interview aired after the Sharknado's premiere on Thursday: "why not?" She went on to say the film is "so funny it's almost like a cult classic".

Sharknado attracted an audience of 1.4 million viewers who tuned into SyFy on Thursday 11th July. The film does exactly what it says on the tin: with Sharks being swept up by a tornado and dropped on Los Angeles.
The film aired on SyFy and was their original production. Alongside Ried, the disaster movie stars Cassie Scerbo (Make It Or Break It), Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills, 90210) and John Heard (The Pelican Brief).
The TV Movie has caused widespread mirth. It has a similar style to Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus but with the much needed humour this truly terrible film lacks. Reid on the topic of the viewer's reaction said "I'm just so glad that people saw the humour in it that I did, because it's hilarious".

Mary McNamara, reviewing Sharknado for the Los Angeles Times, said the script despite picking holes in its own plot line is something "you just have to love". Whilst The Guardian critic described Sharknado as "the most terribly good movie of the summer".
Reid is best known for her roles in American Pie and its sequels American Pie 2 and American Reunion. She is renowned for appearing in less than prestigious roles (to say the least) frequently appears due to her looks as opposed to any acting talent she may possess.
