Ian Brown will embark on his largest UK tour for some time this autumn in support of his new album which will be released to coincide with the shows.
The tour spans a whole month and will begin at Newcastle Academy on September 27th before calling at Hull, Sheffield, Middlesbrough and Lincoln.
The former Stone Roses frontman will then head to Halifax, Leeds and Warrington before making the trip to Scotland for dates in Dundee, Motherwell and Edinburgh.
Brown's tour will include dates at large academies as well as smaller venues, such as Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall which will provide the perfect opportunity for fans to see Brown in a smaller, more intimate venue.
Dates will be announced for Brixton Academy and Manchester as and when they are scheduled, but it is not known whether Brown will make a residency at the two venues.
Ian Brown's last solo album, Solarized, was released in September 2004 and included Oasis star Noel Gallagher on guitar.
A greatest hits compilation followed, but this year's album will be the first chance fans have had to hear new material from Brown for over two years.
