Did Thieves Know Helen Flanagan Was Alone By Using Twitter?

Helen Flanagan I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Coronation Street

The former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has been left "shaken but unharmed" after burglars broke into her house in Prestbury, Cheshire, locking herself and a friend in a row while they stole jewellery and a mobile phone before fleeing. Police are investigating the break-in, reports BBC News.

Ms Flanagan's spokesman said she was "very shaken" though unharmed after the incident. Writing on her Twitter page earlier in the day, the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star appeared to let slip that she was in her large detached home alone as Manchester City star boyfriend Scott Sinclair was away. "Super tired today, which makes me emotional, sensitive and mental!" she added.

The incident occurred after Helen was seen out in Alderley Edge yesterday afternoon. Later, police were seen outside the property and interviewed Helen while taking evidence from inside. A spokesman for Cheshire Police said they were treating the incident as an aggravated burglary. "We are investigating a burglary at a private address in Prestbury reported at 11.50pm on Monday 17 June," he said, "Thieves broke into the detached property and stole items of jewellery and a mobile phone."

I'm A Celebrity Fans, Have No Fear! Follow Up Show Will Reveal Stars Away From The Jungle

Charlie Brooks Helen Flanagan David Haye I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

It turns out the I'm a celebrity finale, wasn't really the final show, as there'll be a lovely catch up program tonight (Dec 5th, 2012) so you can see how your favourite stars are doing now they're free from the jungle, The Mirror reports,

The show will focus on what happened when they stumbled out of the jungle, and into the arms of their loved ones, or if you're Helen Flanagan, a massive sandwich. "It was so hard.  It was awful," Helen said as she greeted her parents' arms. "It's just such a relief to see my mum and dad.  It's just overwhelming you know." She was quick to post a picture of a healthy (in size) sandwich with fries, and, when asked to reminisce, guess what she remembered first? "I think I quite liked my simple jungle life. I didn't have to worry about anything. I got woken up, got my food delivered to me. It was very simple. It was very stress free." Yeah it was food.

Made in Chelsea star Hugo was thinking less about his stomach, and more about his girlfriend. "I'm so happy to be out," Hugo wept onto Nat's shoulder, "I've been thinking about you so much.  I tried not to but I did. For the first two weeks, every time I thought of you I was just like no, don't.  Too difficult," he cried.

People In Glass Houses... Nadine Dorries Accuses Heart Surgery MP Of Slacking Off

David Cameron I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Oh, Nadine Dorries… have you not heard that little fable about people in glass houses? No? OK, well they’re definitely not advised to start throwing stones and if they are going to throw stones, they should probably make sure they get their facts straight first, so those stones don’t turn out to be boomerangs and come flying right back in their face.

In response to the Labour MP Steve McCabe’s criticism of her neglecting her ministerial duties to appear on the reality TV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Dorries said to McCabe “I think with your 63 per cent attendance record, you should be quiet. Obviously been taking a few holidays of your own!” What Nadine Dorries had failed to do before leveling such accusations at McCabe was do any kind of investigation into why he’d not attended parliament. His response, on Twitter, was to say “Imagine equating time off for open heart surgery with a paid for holiday on a reality TV show. Says all we need to know.”

Nadine Dorries is certainly not doing herself any favours. In fact, we’re not sure what would have been a worse outcome for her; to be kept in the jungle and make a fool of herself on national television and risk any semblance of a good reputation that she may have had, or to have been kicked out, to make a fool of herself in the real world instead. We reckon she’s best of laying low and switching off the internet for a while, if she’s got any sense.

How Long Does Nadine Dorries Have Left As An MP?

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

MP Nadine Dorries entered the jungle for I'm a celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! amongst intense controversy, and she's exited it under the same conditions. Her choice to leave her constituency to enter a game show really didn't go down well with her superiors, colleagues, or the people that she needs votes from come the next election.

According to the Guardian, an Ashcroft survey about Dorries showed the following: "A full 96% of the 1,500 local voters surveyed between 14 and 18 November knew Dorries was on the show...  with a mere 16% approving of her decision. When asked about her loss of the Tory whip, 58% of people said this was the right decision, a figure rising to 64% among Tory voters."

In the face of all this criticism, Dorries has tried to defend herself, telling Daybreak that her office hasn't been entirely lackadaisical. "Some of the flak that has been thrown at me I'm afraid just isn't true." She said, "My office has been manned, my staff have been working and I am back at work already." While defending herself it seems that she has no regrets about her decision to enter the jungle, but didn't think she'd be staying the whole course, and feels a personal transformation took place. She says: "I kind of expected it. It's been a fascinating experience. I actually came here self-important for a few days, but I'm not now."

Back At Work As An MP? Nadine Dorries Evicted From I'm A Celebrity...

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Nadine Dorries has admitted that she wasn’t entirely honest about why she needed to take a month off work. The office of the chief whip, Andrew Mitchell have released a statement to say “Andrew Mitchell was neither asked nor did he agree to Nadine Dorries going off to Australia for a month to take part in I'm a celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

Nadine admitted, after being ejected from the celebrity TV contest “I didn't tell him what it was for, because I couldn't, because I was bound to confidentiality, but I did tell him what I was going to do would be quite controversial.” Dorries has since been suspended from the Tory party, though according to The Independent, she’s said that she’s back working as an MP already. She seemed to have enjoyed her time on the show, eating lambs’ testicles and an ostrich anus and getting buried in a coffin with bugs.

In an interview with Daybreak on ITV, she explained that she is already back at work, in a temporary office that she’s set up in her hotel. In the interview she also claimed that Andrew Mitchell has been “clever with words” and also asked what he could do to keep her happy, as she had been rebellious on a number of issues. After her eviction, she said “I actually came here self-important for a few days but I'm not now” and maintains that she entered the show to raise public awareness of political issues.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Away From That Camel Toe!

Helen Flanagan I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

The bushtucker trial failure last night, when Nadine Dorries, the disgraced Tory MP, couldn't face the 'bug burial', meant that the camp's food rations were kept to a minimum and everyone was utterly starving when Dorries and fellow 'celeb' Helen Flanagan were voted to face the next trial. Despite grumbling stomachs, we doubt either of them fancied what was on the menu: camel toe.

Hopefully, being starving will be conducive to a win for both Helen and Nadine. But judging by Flanagan's Monday night confession, that's highly unlikely. The Daily Mail quote her saying: "I think I'll be the person who'll cry the most in the show ever. I'm really struggling. I've even been thinking of going because I just don't know if I can hack it. I'm not feeling very good to be honest. I did think this would be easier. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be... I'm dreading going back and saying I was only in there 10 seconds, but I tried. It's embarrassing and it's just humiliating. I just feel like such a wimp."

In which case, expect plenty of tears for tonight's show in which she definitely does, at the very least, put some camel toe in her mouth and chew. That's a feat in itself. You'll have to wait until tonight at 9pm on ITV1 to see if either Helen or Nadine can cope with an enormous camel toe. We're betting not.

Tory MP Nadine Dorries Slammed For 'I'm A Celebrity.' Decision

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Lembit Opik George Galloway

Conservative MP Nadine Dorries has been slammed for deciding to appear on the ITV1 reality competition show 'I'm a celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' which is set to air its twelfth series on November 11th 2012.

The politician will serve as the first sitting member of parliament to join the jungle which has been the subject of some outrage with many of her fellow MPs practically accusing her of abandoning her post at the House of Commons. Home Secretary Theresa May has said on ITV1's 'This Morning' that she thinks 'an MP's job is in their constituency and in the House of Commons', however she also believes that Dorries should have the right to decide 'how she wants to do her job'.

'I'm doing the show because 16 million people watch it', Dorries told the Daily Mail. 'Rather than MPs talking to other MPs about issues in Parliament, I think MPs should be going to where people go.' And though people are looking down their noses at her choosing a holiday over her responsible position, she insists that she has never taken a day off in seven years during Parliamentary time. 'I've worked all through recess and I only had four days off this summer', she says.

Gemma And J Take Terror Train

Gemma Atkinson and Jason 'J' Brown endured a frightening encounter with a host of unsavoury jungle residents on the new series of I'm a celebrity...

The former Hollyoaks actress and the ex-boyband member were face to face with cockroaches, ants, meal worms and eel slime during the Terror Train and the Temple of Doom Bushtucker Trial, but endured the unpleasant Antipodean visitors to earn three meals for the camp.

Presenter Ant Mcpartlin told the pair that six stars were fixed inside the Temple of Doom, into which they would travel.

"You've got to go in search of them," he explained. "Sit in the cart and then the cart with move through. It will stop four times - when it stops, the star will fall from the ceiling along with some other jungle nastiness," said Ant.

"You have 30 seconds to secure your star before the cart moves again. This happens four times and the final two you find at the end, they're not going to drop, they will be hanging there so feel around for them."

Before the trial began, 'J' reassured Gemma, saying: "When it happens don't think about it, just grab the stars.

"It's going to be nasty - there are going to be things crawling all over us Gemma, are you ready?" he asked.

A bucket of eel slime soon cascaded over Gemma, before a cockroach shower left her screaming: "It's down my top, it's eating me, aaagh! It's nipping my back, the b**tard."

While 'J' was unable to find the star protected by a nest of green ants, Gemma ignored a shower of meal worms to grab a third star, securing a third meal for the contestants.

Back at the camp the contestants joked about a Cerys Matthews-Marc Bannerman wedding, and Janice Dickinson, Anna Ryder Richardson and Christopher Biggins all received special messages from their loved ones.
