Hollywood legend Humphrey Bogart's mistress VERITA THOMPSON has died in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was 92. Thompson's affair with the Casablanca star spanned 20 years and she was working on a screenplay based on their romance at the time of her passing. In 1982, Thompson released a book, Bogie And Me, documenting the illicit affair during the years she was the star's hairdresser - a publication that reportedly enraged Bogart's first wife Lauren Bacall. According to sources, Bogart gave Thompson one of his hair pieces before he died - and she kept the toupee by her bedside until her death.
