Playing grumpy TV doctor GREGORY HOUSE is helping British actor Hugh Laurie get to grips with America's medical laws.
The writers of the former BLACKADDER star's hit new US TV show HOUSE keep coming up with storylines that force Laurie to research US laws.
And he reveals the upcoming first show of the second season gave him particular pause for thought.
He explains, "LL Cool J plays a Death Row inmate who falls sick and it is a matter of legal fact that he has to be healed before he can be executed. You can't execute someone who's not fit. It's bizarre."
